Electric fan heaters
Fan heaters work by passing air over a heating element; the air is then expelled from the unit and warms up the surrounding environment. Fan heaters are beneficial in that they provide rapid heating of an area in a short time period. They are inexpensive and can be used where other heating applications might prove impractical. Fan heaters have the same disadvantages as convector heaters when compared to radiant heaters, and are often too noisy to use on a continuous basis.
