In convector heaters air is forced over a heating element and then out into the atmosphere, the heat is then circulated in the form of air currents. Convector heaters provide instantaneous heat; this is the major benefit over radiant heaters. Convector heaters are quieter than fan heaters due to the natural air circulation so are more suitable for certain applications.
